How Can Cold, Cough And Fever Be Treated?

I have a cold, cough, and fever around 101+. I was prescribed Amoxillin 500mg for 10 days. My fever went down to 99+, I was prescribed a second dose of antibiotic (Azithromycin 250 mg), I felt a bit better after taking this medication for the first three days. This morning my temperature went up again (99.8) and I felt nausea and extreme tired. I will complte my second round of antibiotic tomorrow. I am not sure what other thing I can do to get well. Regards, Cam

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to an upper respiratory tract infection.

I see that you have already taken two cycles of antibiotics. I would recommend taking a multivitamin supplement.

I also recommend taking probiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
