Hello,

I would like to ask some questions:
1. do you find any other symptoms like headache or abdominal problems?
2. is there cough with mucus secretion?

To answer your question: The dosage for 6 years is a little less or I can say it is between 5ml to 10 ml. So, if you think, the medicine is not working properly, you can increase to 6ml, 7ml, 8ml, gradually. The dosage that will work will be his. For instance, you can take 8ml, fixed.
Observe the result for 5-7 days.

Along with that
diphenhydramine hydrochloride, if there cough.

Follow these guidelines:
Practice good hygiene by washing your hands frequently with soap and warm water, especially after using the toilet and before eating.

Limit exposure to crowds and to people with known infections.

Give him a light diet like soup (chicken soup)

You can also give him some juice.

Ask him to drink a lot of water. If required a little warm water.

Do not worry. Keep him under check for 7 days. Then post another question if the problem persists. Here we have skilled doctors who can take care of this problem.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dipan Samanta, General & Family Physician
