However, for congestion to come down, you need to do the following: • Take steam inhalation twice daily • Do salt water gargling twice daily • Take medication containing Bromhexine with Chlorpheniramine Maleate and Phenylephrine • Avoid drinking cool drinks and having ice creams Gradually, your symptoms should get better and be back to normal.
