How Can Chronic Pain In The Back Be Treated?

Hi, I am a longtime suffer of chronic back pain caused by a fall in the year 2001. I have had 4 surgeries over the past 15 yrs, with the last two being spinal fusions at L3-L4, L4-L5. I don t want any more surgeries and would like advice on what the latest research shows for pain medications and their effectiveness I have tried all modalities such as, massage, TENS, physical therapy, ice, heat and excersize (i.e., walking, swimming, yoga and the cardio machines at the gym. Is there any new drug research for chronic pain that could potentially help take my daily pain level down from a solid 7 ? Any advice, help or recommendation would be so appreciated. Best regards, Linda

Hi,

I have evaluated your query in details. The chronic pain is best managed with Tramadol hydrochloride tablet which can be consumed for more than year without any side effect on the kidney.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel,
