How Can Chronic Cough Be Treated?

I ve been taking Amoxicillin for 2 days now, along with a second (new) blood pressure med - Amlodipine ... and although my cold / cough symptoms were going away, I have this tickly cough now. Jolly nuisance. Just tickle / scratchy at back of throat I think. Have eased off on the Amlodipine to see if it helps. I have been taking Candesartan Cilexetil for some time now, with no side effects. Feeling a bit low in energy with all the coughing. I seem to remember trying another blood pressure med (Felodipine?) quite a while back and it made me cough then. Made me pee too! Wondering if I m on-track with the BP med causing aggravation.
