General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Most probably it will be due to severe gastric reflux.
As of now you can take antacids like Pantoprazole or Omeprazole for symptomatic relief.
If symptoms persist consult a physician and get evaluated to rule out heart or lung related problems.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
