How Can Chronic Constipation, Swelling In The Stomach And Nagging Pain Around The Navel Be Treated?
I have ha IBS for yeARS BUT FOR YEARS BUT FOR THE PAST 4 WEEKS, IVE HAD CHRONIC CONSTIPATION WITH SOME BLOCKAGE, MY STOMACH HAS SWOLLEN LIKE A CANTELOPE A ND DOESNT CHANGE WITH A BOWEL MOVEMENT AND CONSTANT NAGGING PAIN AROUND MY BELLY BUTTON TO MY SIDES. MOST OF THE PAIN IS USUALLY ON THE RIGHT SIDE WITH SHARP PAINS BELOW MY RIB CAGE OR FURTHER DOWN.
IBS is kind of functional disorder and it is not the pathological disease, certain conditions are likely in case of IBS as for example constipation, vague abdomen pain, for constipation start taking more fiber containing diet, drink lot of water, if the pain persist for days then it has to be brought for investigations then it can not be due to IBS but it could be due to GI inflammatory disease like cholecystitis, hyperacidity, Biliary colic still then Acetaminophen can be tried for pain.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
