How Can Chronic Constipation Be Treated?

I take norithisterone for bleeding. I m 49 and due an ablation of the uterus to stop heavy bleeding. I ve not been to the poo for 3 days. I don t feel I want to go but am getting a little wind. I have drunk lots of peppermint tea fresh orange juice and water. Still no sign. What should I do to get a regular movement. Leading up to this I had terrible hard time passing stools and think I caused a pile of tear I inside. Felt like glass I m using a pile crasm to make feel better

Chronic constipation should be treated as it may lead to many complications like pilesor fissure s. You should start taking a laxative like syrup Lactulose 10 ml before going to sleep at night. also drink lots of water and a diet rich in fibre. Don't strain while passing stool as it may lead to tear in the anal canal
