Hi sir/madam,
Welcome to health care magic,

I can certainly understand your concern towards your chronic constipation , it is clear that you have already tried many methods to relieve it, its better to rule out any major pathology by colonoscopy, which you have scheduled.

It may be associated with normal or slow stool transit time, functional defecation disorder or a combination of both.

With slow-transit constipation, outlet obstruction is characterized by either difficulty or inability to expel the stool.

In the meantime, I can suggest you to maintain regular timings to defaecate, drink plenty of fluids, bulk up your diet with fibres and fruits, check for the medications whether you are taking if any which cause constipation

hope this information would help you

Post your further questions if any
Thank you
