How Can Chest Pain On The Left Side Be Treated?

This is late Saturday. PICC line was removed Thursday after 3 months. It occasionally would get blocked. Yesterday and today I have had some upper left chest pain and discomfort. PICC was in left arm. When the pain happens it lasts 2 to 3 hours then subsides. What can I do to help it?

Left side chest pain should be dealt with caution. Get an ECG done immediately to rule out cardiac causes. If ECG is suspicious get a tropI done. Most often it would be related to gastritis. You can take antacids like pantoprazole or omeprazole.
