How Can Bowel Incontinence After Recovering From Rectal Cancer Be Treated?

I am a rectal cancer survivor and since then I have very little bowel control causing me to have into se bathroom episodes daily. My Castro doc is suggesting this injection to help instead of taking opium tincture or percocet daily, would this help or correct my problem?

I have reviewed your query and here are my thoughts.
It is good to know that you are a Rectal cancer survivor; the treatment must have destructed the anal sphincters thus causing incontinence.
Please consult the Surgeon specialized in J-Pouch construction as this can give at least a partial control over incontinence.
Also watch for the foods and beverages that instigate or enhance the problems and stop these altogether.
Till then try injections as advised by your Doctor.
Also think of some herbal medications under the expert that are known to give control over loose stools.
Avoid stress and anxiety.
