How Can Body Weight Of An Infant Be Increased?

Hi , actually I have 3 Nd half month old baby girl in breastfeeding her but from 15 days she s not getting enough weight nly 200 GM s HD increased n Al s she will be fussy n cranky in night times plz suggest me what to do whether to start formula r not birth weight was 2.950 kg NW she s 4.900 kg

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
I think there is nothing to worry she has a normal weight 4900gr for 3,5 months. I don't suggest you to start formula.
I encourage you to continue breastfeeding as offten as she wants on average every 2-3 hours even at night.
Give nothing else but just breastfeeding for 6 months.
Have a balanced diet full of fruit and vegetables.
