Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Omnacortil contains 'Prednisolone' as an ingredient. It is a corticosteroid that helps to prevent the release of some substances in the body that lead to inflammation. Prednisone has been classified by the US FDA as Pregnancy Category D. Studies in humans show that maternal corticosteroid use during the first trimester of pregnancy increases the rate of cleft lip with or without cleft palate. However, since you are in second trimester, it may not be contraindicated. It would be advisable to use Levocetirizine as it falls into category B. In animal studies where pregnant animals were given this medication, the babies did not show any medical issues related to this medication. Kindly consult your Obstetrician before intake of any such medications.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
