I have a bacterical affection on my left foot starting with my big toe and it goes across the top of my foot it was healing until I was hit in the foot with a foot stool. Now it looks like it has spreaded and I am in constant pain and my left leg hurts and is hot to the touch. Hello dear.
I would like to know a detailed history especially regarding diabetes, have you checked your sugar levels?
If you are diabetic,i would advise you to get surgical debridement of the wound along with antibiotics preferably Tab Augmentin 625 mg thrice daily for 7 days.
If not diabetic and sugar levels are normal then washing with saline and local application of anti septic you are using is good but you should take antibiotics preferably augmentin to heal the infection and some good antiinflammatory agents like Ibuprofen 400 mg tablet thrice a day with meals to reduce pain and swelling.
Hope it will help.
Wishing you a speedy recovery anda sound health :-)
