How Can Attention Deficit Disorder Be Treated?

I have recently moved across the state and am in a nursing program at Penn State. I have been diagnosed with ADD in the past but never liked taking the medication although I did see an improvement while taking the medication. How can I find someone to treat me quickly as my nursing program is getting overwhelming.

Hi,

Attention deficit disorder is a problem in paying or sustaining attention. often they will be in fantasy world, forgetfulness. Because of that many students are poor in scholastic skill. Even though they are poor in academics, they have some ex-ordinary skill, may be good in any one of this skills, drawing, dancing, music, etc.

Instead, of going for medicine consult your occupational therapist, who will guide you towards attention-enhancing activities.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein,
