How Can Atopic Dermatitis Be Treated?

Hello Dr Prasad My 6 years old daughter has atopic dermatitis since 2013. Her skin inflammation started with cow s milk. She has been on clobetasol propionate and neomycin sulphate treatment since 2015. I also have to administer deflazacort orally when her condition aggravates with temperature change. But her skin is very itchy during night and condition detoriates as soon I stop the medicines. Her body hair growth has increased since this local application of steroid. What should I do to improve her condition. Plz help

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, atopic dermatitis is self limiting condition most of the time it may not need any treatment, but oral antihistamine can be used instead of local steroid and best would be Levocetirizine be patience it will be alright soon hope this information helps.
