How Can Anxiety And Depression Be Treated?

My 20 year old daughter has anxiety and depression diagnosed about 5 years ago. Currently she had been taking cymbalta 30 mg daily. She had not been compliant for a few days, and in the interim her anxiety has spike she is a part-time college student and works part -time. I advised to begin taking it again, which she did yesterday... she is under the supervision of her psychiatrist for medical management, and sees a therapist about 2 times a month. She stated she stopped taking it because felt it was making her feel airy and pressure in her brain . Going to try and get her to at least talk to her psychiatrist this week and also e-mail him, because his office is 45 miles away and hard to get into see. She has a appointment with him in June , she sees him about every 2 or 3 months. My question is am I correct in having her resume the medication until she gets advisement from her psychiatrist
