How Can Anxiety And ADHD Be Treated?

Hi, I have a long hx of ADHD and anxiety. I ve been given several antidepressants, and it increases my anxiety each time. My ADHD goes untreated, and the ADHD medication (adderall XR) increases my anxiety. Any suggestions? Some of the most recent medications I have tried are duloxetine HCI 30 & 60 mg, Wellbutrin SR 100 mg, Buspirone HCI 10 mg, Effexor XR 15 mg, and the adderall 5mg xL, citalopram 10 mg., Sertraline, HCI 50 mg

Adderal is a stimulant drug used for treating ADHD and it can increase anxiety in some individuals.
Non stimulants (like straterra) less commonly cause anxiety and is better tolerated in people with anxiety.
Effexor XR is also good for treatment of anxiety and in recent studies have shown to control symptoms of ADHD also. I understand that you have already taken Effexor .It would be helpful to know how you responded to the medication and see if effexor is an option for you.
You can discuss these options with your health care provider and see if a non stimulant/effexor is a better choice for you.
