How Can An Itchy Rash Around The Waist Be Treated?

I have a rash. It appears as if I am sun burned. It itches and radiates a lot of heat. It is mainly around my waist down my legs and under my arms and wrists. I am using Benadryl tablets and Benadryl spray to try to control the itch. I am having chills constantly. It feels better when I place ice packs to the area.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Usually sunburn is not been over covered area. Sunburn looking lesions may be of Eczema/lichen simplex/psoriasis/sarcoid and many more. So better not to treat it by yourself. Please visit a dermatologist for better care.

I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you have any further questions.
Regards,
Dr. Surajit Gorai
