It is best you completely 'Offload' the injured foot till complete healing of the tendon. The tendon injury may just be an excessive stretching, or may involve partial or complete tear. This can be diagnosed by an MRI. for torn achilles tendon, suturing will have to be done in the operating room. Please consult the Podiatric surgeon at the earliest.
