How Can An Infected Pimple Under The Armpit Be Treated?

I had a pimple on the side of where my bra would be under the armpit near the side breast, but the pimple was black. After a year I was able to pop it, inside was a white hard object and some white pus.My Question is, did the pus calcify because it had no where to escape.I am healing now quite well.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

On long standing case it can undergo fibrosis and forms a hard white object. Calcification is unlikely. If no signs of infection, no treatment is required. If the swelling cause recurrent infection it has to be drained and antibiotics has to be started.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
