How Can Allergic Skin Reaction Due To Flagyl Intake Be Treated?

I had an allergic reaction to Flagyl about 25 years ago. Swelling of face, lips, and hands. I now have a yeast infection for the first time and the doctor has prescribed Terconazole supository. Is this the same family of drugs and will I be allergic to it.

Hello dear! You can take Terkonazol without problem. Terkonazol is an antifungal drug. Metronidazole is an antibiotic. So this is a drug from another class. I wish you all the best!
