How Can Acne Be Treated?

I have had acne since my teen years and have tried almost all possible dermatological products and consulted with many dermatologists. Will it be advisable to go to a doctor to have my blood taken to see what could be wrong with me since none of the products have seemed to work?

Hello,

As per your query you have symptoms of acne on the face which are very common in your age group due to the onset of puberty, and hormonal changes. You are already taking so much medicine but not get benefited. You should wash your face with mild soap and cold water twice a day. You should consult dermatologist once and get it examined completely. The doctor may prescribe antibiotics course along with chemical peeling. You should use Isotretinoin on daily basis and exfoliate your face once a week. Drink plenty of water and add fresh fruits and vegetables to your diet.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
