I"m having a problem with heartburn. I was using omeprazole, but my NP now says she thinks prolonged use may hurt my kidneys. She suggested Ranididine but it does not work. I am 64 and have had type 1 diabetes for 55years. What other meds are worth trying. I don't have much money for high priced meds.
