How Can A Surgical Wound Be Treated?

I just had a colonoscopy at 3.30pm with skin tag banding and one skin tag cut and stitched, today and when I got home at 6 and went to the bathroom I passed a Jelonet. Doctors told me to remove this tomorrow when I had a salt bath. Is there anything I need to watch for?

Hi

Nothing to worry and the the piece of jelonet is kept to absorb small bleeding that might happen after the procedure.
It is usually removed on the next day and accidental expulsion doesn’t cause any harm.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
