How Can A Spider Bite Infection Be Treated?

I was bitten in two places by a spider (don t know what kind), broke out in hives all over my body, went to Med-Point and was given two shots (Prednisone and Benadryl ). Two days later I now have a hard lump on my forearm (same are the bites are but not the same site). Still have some hives in torso area. Should I be concerned about the lump?

Hi,

The lump is appearing to bite only that was not previously noticed. However, a clinical examination is a must to rule out the exact cause of the lump. So my suggestion is to consult an Emergency and get evaluated.

For now, you can do alternate warm and cool compresses over the. Apply a steroid based cream like Clobetasol over it. But getting it checked clinically by a doctor is a mist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
