How Can A Spider Bite Infection Be Treated?

I got bit by a spider on the 10th and on Friday there was a lot of pus in it so we squeezed it out. There s a lump there. And it looks like it s filling up again. Should I assume it still has poison in my eyelid. Also it is less but still lump, they either want to cut it out or steroid confused on what to do, still red as well

Hi..

If you are bit on the eyelid and there is a bump then it is possibly due to infection..
Secondly it can be due to infection in the oil gland of the eye..

I would suggest you to consult an Emergency room or a General Physician and get evaluated and a clinical examination can be done..

In case if there is drainage complete drainage can be done followed by a course of antibiotics oral as well as topical..

Do not try to treat it at home..

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
