How Can A Sore And Inflamed Vagina, Resulting In Painful Sex, Be Treated?

My vagina is constantly very sore, its red and inflamed and itchy at times. Sexual activity is painful and unenjoyable. Canesten is not working and the symptoms are increasingly getting worse. Anus is now painful and i have a sore in the inside of my bottom lip. What do i have?

Hi,

You seem to have a trichomonal vaginitis, where itching is characteristic & itching or rubbing causes inflammation, swelling & pain so does a sexual activity.

You need

- To take oral anti trichomonal medicine like Fluconazole along with antibiotic like Norfloxacin (as per need) orally along with local vaginal pessary of fluconazole /Treatment of both sex partners is essential for early &complete relief/avoid sex till both of you are declared to be relieved.

Please consult a gynaecologist for prescribing dosage after examination &determination of severity.
