I have injected crystal meth twice in the 3 days. (I have never iv d anything, this was a first) I used sterile, brand new needles each time, a sterilized spoon, clean cotton for a filter, wiped down the injection site before ( the large vein in the crook of my elbow) & i did not have to stick myself at most more than 2 times. I attempted actually 4 times, first time sucessful, second time i wqs very timid to hit an artery & ended up with pricks all over my forearms. the third time i got in, but i pulled the plunger back too far and the shot went everywhere. The fourth time, last night was successful almost immediately. I have quite shaky hands unfortunately, but i managed to inject what i thought was properly. The first time i had a bit of a mushy feeling in & slightly around the vein after i injected, but it was fine after letting my arm rest & a little warmth. Last night i had a hot shower and put a warm compress before injection so my veins would be ready. I injected in the same arm i had the fjrst time, and attempted to the second and third too because this vein sticks out the most & hurts the least. I injected slowly and carefully, trying to avoid any leaks. I noticed the skin was a little raaised this morning & the skin around the injection site was sort of dark tan color(i am very pale) and hints of blue purple. My arm felt a little different but not super noticeably, i was able to go about mt work day as usual. A few hours ago i get a head ache and the feeling i get when I ve smoked too much speed but am not feeling high (i smoke about 2-4 points of meth a day) & my injection arm is cold, very slightly tingly, has a dull ache & doesnt feel as functional as my other one. Almost like the circulation is screwed up? The injection site isnt irritated or inflamed except for the little mound & discoloration. I thought i did everything correctly, is it possible i could have inflamed or even collapsed my vein? Thank you.. i am scared
