How Can A Lump In The Thyroid Gland Be Removed?

According recent investigation by a doctor here, he suspects my left thyroid gland having a lump, which he suspects maybe having cancerous cells and not sure as per ultrasound. Should I remove the gland as he suggests or I should continue using kadukkai daily which will help me gat away from this thyroid and also prostate issues? Your advise please

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of suspected lump in left lobe of thyroid by your Doctor and also suspects that it may be cancerous although not sure with an ultrasound, wants to know whether to get the thyroid gland or continue Kadukkai which will help you get away from thyroid problem as well prostate issues..
As per the history you have provided, it is not clear about the ultrasonography report.
I would advise you the following in such a case:
Get an MRI or CT scan to get the proper diagnosis and multiple FNAC to see the probable diagnosis.
If the lobe is not normal on any of the imaging then it is a best option is to undergo surgery.
This helps in two ways:
1) you get rid of the mass which is not normal.
2) you get a definite diagnosis about the cause and may be a treatment in itself.
Go for the proper investigations and surgery if required.
