How Can A Leaky Heart Valve Be Treated?

My husband is 80 years of age and had open heart 3 years ago for leaking heart valve which started leaking again in 3 yrs and a month ago he had non-open heart surgery where they went thru. his groin and it is already leaking again. what should we do?

Hi,

Consult an intervention cardiologist and get evaluated.

He has to get an echo test to assess the severity of the disease.

If the ejection fraction is low, he might require a revision surgery.
