Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Should I be worried about a large hematoma on my upper leg? I believe I pulled my groin last week, then ran rather hard before it healed and it may have possibly been aggravated with an injury from a foot during a rugby match (stepped on). my injured thigh diameter is about 25-35% larger than the other one
hematoma starts resolving after few days and there can be slight change in color too over the area. avoid putting strain or injury to the local area. apply heat packs to provide warmth and increase healing potential.
