How Can A Head Lump With Nose Bleeding And Tenderness Be Treated?

I got in a fight a week ago. I received a large lump on my head and a bad nose bleed. Now the bridge of my nose is very tender and when i apply pressure, I get a headache. The nose never got visibly swollen or bruised, but has been painful since the fight. Could my nose be broken?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I am afraid you might have a large hematoma on your head due to fight you had. Should have applied cold/ice compresses locally. Plus, should apply compression on the nose to stop bleeding. If still no improvement, should get medical help as soon as possible to prevent further and more serious complications.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
