Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Femur fracture has got good results especially in young age. In younger aged individuals the healing and remodelling will be fast and effective .It won’t leave you any disability and you can do all the activities you have done earlier including running and climbing. You can consult a physiotherapist for exercises to strengthen your leg. Initially you may have some difficulties but it will resolve as the therapy progress.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
