about 2 yrs ago i was attacked by a pittbull dog and i was bitten on my left arm about 10 times ,i went to the emergency room were the doctor put numerous amount of stitches in my arm to piece it back together great job was done. here now its two yrs later and i have massive itching and very sore spots were the skin is very thick and appears as if there is still stitches in my arm that look like little railroad tracks blue ,black and white little thread looking in the skin. is it possible to still have stitches in my arm after 2 yrs? i have not sen a doctor since the accident. thank you cheryl king
Hello, It is possible that there is retained suture material causing inflammation and irritation. The only way to treat this is to see a doctor and have it removed. Regards
