How Can A Congestive Heart Failure Be Treated Without A Pacemaker?

My 89 year old mother has 15% of her heart working. She is sleeping all the time and has no energy. She had a heart attack 3 weeks ago. She is in rehab to get use of hand and legs back. Her heart is in bad shape. Is there anything besides a pacemaker that can be done?

HI
Well come to HCM
If the heart rate is not normal and history of arrhythmia is there then pacemaker is the only option for this, some time drug has got no role for this, and patient would be in a need of pacemaker for normal function of heart, hope this information helps, take care.
