Hello, thanks for asking on healthcare magic. Aneurysms are outpouchings in a vessel wall, since the vessel wall weakens at the site of aneurysm they are prone to rupture. They might be congenital as in berry aneurysms or atherosclerotic. An aneurysm might press on to certain areas of the brain affecting some functions like speech in your husband s case. Treatment of cerebral aneurysms is surgical clipping, coiling or flow diverters. The recommended treatment depends upon the size of aneurysm. However as in your husband s case surgery might not be possible due to heart problems. It is advisable to keep his blood pressure in check to avoid any extra stress on the aneurysm site. Hope I helped. Thanks.
