How Can I Find Out If I Have Chronic Lyme?

Hi , I was diagnosed with Lyme disease 2years ago by my family Dr. I was treated for 3weeks with the usual antibiotics. I don t know when I was bit and went to the dr only because I thought I had shingles. I was the sickest I ve ever been with unbelievable pain. My question is how can I find out if I have chronic Lyme? I did speak to my family Dr and she brushed me off saying even if it s chronic I ve already had the 3 weeks of antibiotics and that s all they can do for me.. I haven t felt the same since I got sick and still have reoccurring symptoms. Not like the first initial reaction but still getting in the way of every day life. I do everything in my power to stay healthy. I even went whole and organic foods only. I m 48 years old and also take meds for low thyroid and mild depression ( recent). Any advice? Also what kind of specialist should I see?
