it all depends on how high your blood pressure is & how old you are & if there are any other associated illnesses. normally most high readings of blood pressure which are slightly above normal needs only dietary modifications like, reducing salt in the diet, less oil & life style modifications like walking atlest for 20 min to half hour every day.
