this is a question related to blood pressure. my wife has hypothyroidism (thyronorm 50mcg) for quite sometime now and during a casual check up last August, high blood pressure (150/100) was observed. a follow up examination result was 160/110 and immediately put on medication (amlodipin 2.5mg). bp was getting somewhat under control but when a new medicine (different brand) was introduced when we moved country, the readings hover around 135-140/90-98.......
since exercise, weight losss, dietary restrictions were already in place, this appeared shocking. we use an electronic monitor at home.
do you have any suggestion? thanks in advance
