Hi There. I Have Been Diagnosed (2007) With Re-curing Mono,

Hi there. I have been diagnosed (2007) with re-curing mono, by two different hemotologists, brought on by the EBV. Enlarged spleen has been evident since my diagnosis. Chronic fatigue has been present since and has become worse during this calendar year. My cardiologist has ordered an ultrasound for my carartid artery, to help determine if that is contributing to my worsening condition. I also have an ascending aortic anyuerism, which, thankfully remains the same size since that bad boy was discovered in 2014, during a routine exam by my heart doc. Just had another echocardiogram this month. Results: the same as last year. I’m no longer interested in the radiation from CT scans and I am WAY too claustrophobic to have an MRI, until an open MRI becomes available. Can the caradid artery be contributing to a clearly worsening case of my chronic fatigue? My BP is good. I take 25 mg of atenolol each morning and I just had six vials of blood drawn to check just about everything a primary care doc can look at. Only negative thing blood tests revealed is my lifetime condition of anemia (Thalysemia, Mediterranean strain of Cooley’s anemia, the family has been told).
