I’m a 27year old, healthy female with few health concerns. Recently (within the last month) I’ve had a change in bowel habits. They’ve changed to a pale/green colour and have an oily appearance ( I have recently been eating lots of cashew nuts so attributing these symptoms to this). I have a sudden urge for a bowel movement with intense abdominal cramps. Today I noticed what I can only describe as red veins in my stool. They did not look like worms nor move. Thery were mixed in with stool. There was no further liquid red on toilet paper or in toilet bowl. What could this be? Also just to mention I have recently traveled to Japan. Australia and New Zealand (originally from uk)
