Hi my husband recently started using a CPAP machine and is waking up in the morning feeling severely bloated as well as feeing less rested and having moderate chest pain. He is required to comply to DOT regulations. His AHI is 20.5 an hr witch is .5 over there allowed amount. He is having trouble complying due to the uncomfort level in the mornings and we have tried to ask the doctor who performed the sleep study what can be done to help him comply yet still have had to response. Do you have any suggestions to help? We are working on weight loss as a extra solution but he will not be re-elevated for 6 months. What can I help to do to make him more comfortable to comply? CPAP usages is a must in order to keep his job. Any suggestions?
