Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, my doctor put me on fibrates 3 years ago which gave me myalgia almost straight away. He stopped the fibrates after 2 months and told me that the myalgia was a side effect for which there is no medical treatment. I have been taking Q10 supplements to help. But there seems to be such small improvement that I am trying to find ways to help me overcome the pain and the feeling of having to fight some sort of inertia all the time. There is also an imbalance of my leg muscles that I have difficulty in walking without having to think about how to walk. Any suggestions please?
