Hi my daughter is a competitive gymnast and is 16

Hi my daughter is a competitive gymnast and is 16 years old. She had a cold about a month ago and at end started to have pain in middle of chest under breasts upon laughing hard or physical activity such as going up steps. We have been to see the pediatrician twice now and had a chest x-ray. She is now having pain in the middle of her back with these episodes. She also seems like it's hard to breath during these pain episodes that last around 5 minutes. Not sure what type of doctor I should schedule her to see

Hi, my 10 year old daughter is a competitive gymnast. For approximately 8 weeks she s been complaining of pain to her shoulder and asking for ice at night. She did not have any specific injury and often says that she has no pain, except at night and with certain movements. An ultrasound showed bursitis that is calcified. We re now waiting on results of X-rays. How concerned should I be about this? Is it wise to let her continue training in the meantime? She uses ice almost every night, but never complains of pain while training. Thank you, Concerned parent

Hi my daughter is 10years old and has damaged the muscles in between her ribs on both sides. She does a lot of swimming and gymnastics and I presume either or both of these sports has caused this. I hv been to our own gp who has prescribed Brufen and paracetamol, this pain has been with her now from the end of February. Can you recommend anything to help???

My daughter has been doing gymnastics for about 6 years, she is now 14, for the last few years she has been having trouble with skills that require her to go backwards. It changes from week to week. Yesterday she complained about a static noise and clicking in her ear. She really has not had a growth spurt or anything unusual.
