Hi my daughter is 16 wks pregnant for her 1st pregnancy, at 40 years old. My concern is that she swells up a size after being on her feet 8 hours. I thought swelling during pregnancy was a symptom of heart problems. What do u think? What symptoms should I watch for that would indicate heart problems? She has also had a little sob upon stair climbing , very minor, for a few years. Yet she walks almost all day every day lol No known heart problems & none found in 1st ob-gyn appt. My chief concern is the swelling.
