Hi my boyfriend had been treated for bi polar mania in the hospital he stayed in August 2015 he was fine for few months and weaved off his meds of risperidone and clonazapem . Recently in January he has fallen into a deep depression where he cannot focus he cannot do daily functions even paying his bills he drives to work and he sits 8 hours doing nothing . His psychiatrist prescribed a depression pill which was too strong and basically made him worse .. Is this depression? And if so what type of depression med would best help him
