Hi my 22 month old started daycare last week. She got sick on Tuesday with a fever of 39.5 for two days. I took her to the family doctor and clinic and it was a virus. Then she started coughing and has croup, I gave her the steriod on friday. By friday night her behaviour was erratic. Very fussy, crying, inconsolable, again went to the clinic and nothing found. today her cough is worse and she has purple dark circles under her eyes. Could this still be a virus since her ears, eyes and chest are clear?
