Hi, my 16month old daughter (had her ears pierced a year ago) pushed a tiny rubber earring stopper into her earlobe, it's currently inside her earlobe, minimum swelling and discoloration.
Took her to the nearest hospital today and the ear specialist doctor booked her for an appointment for next week Wednesday... My questions are:
1. Is it really necessary to carry out surgery when you can just push it out the same way it went in?
2. Will she still have her piercing after the surgery or the hole will shit and she'll have to repierce?
3. Waiting for so long before next week won't there be any complications since we haven't been given anything for this, no painkillers, no antibiotics...
I'm a very worried mom
