Hi i had 2 stints put in back in November. Prior to this is worked out 3 days a week and was a bike racer. After the stints, i was on the couch for most of the winter because of migraine and dizzyness. Went to the er 6or 7 times due to shortness of breath and high blood pressure. 2 weeks ago i started halving my meds with my dr. consent, to see if that might help my headaches. I was headache free for a week then started getting malignant hypertension headaches which would increase my blood pressure to 170/99 with all the side effects that come with that, chest pain, dizzy, nauseous. They last for about 4 hours until the blood pressure goes down. Had one yesterday, Today like everyday, I still have headaches but my blood pressure is 117/77. Question is, how do i avoid the hypertension headaches because the are scary and irritating. I dont go to the er anymore because of them, i know they will just go away. Seeing my cardiologist next thursday
